Yes, that is what I thought that they were for as well (I'm 57 - I
remember them, sad to say)!! But can you have these things made up
for as rare a car as a ascMcLaren?? I wrote to the seller asking
if it came with the soft tonneau, seeing the snaps for it....so far,
no reply...I will let you know if I get one.
