Ouch... and I guess that takes us full circle to one of the previous discussions we had about the door windows...
Although paying Hank $300 might be the fastest and most efficient route... I still have to assume that a glass shop must be able to 'trim' a standard Mustang door window...
For example, a used Mustang window can be picked up for $50 or less... and even if the local glass shop charged you $150 to do the cutting and edge smoothing you will still be ahead of the deal by $100 ( or more if you include the cost of shipping from Florida plus insurance ).
I guess we will have to come to that bridge when we get there and one of my windows gets busted.
Argh... I am so cheap that I would probably take my RotoZip and give it a try at slicing and dicing through a Stang window.. heck that thing chews throw ceramic tiles as clean as a hot knife through butter... so a window shouldn't be that difficult. If the RotoZip could cut and smooth the edges then my cost would be reduced to the used glass and a couple of new RotoZip attachments...
I guess what I should do to prepare for that eventual day is go and cut out a card board template of the current McLaren windows so I will have something to base a 'replica' on...
