and rightfuly so, i believe that a guy who slaved in his garage for
5-10 years and spent 1000's of dollars and manhours to bring a car
back from the dead should be praised over a fella that bought a
brand new car and simply put it away. not to put anyone down for
having the level headedness and the dollars to do so, we all wish we
would or could have done the same. but when it comes to deciding
who worked harder to make there car appear the way it does today,
give it up to the restorer....
and on the same note, it is sometimes much more difficult to bring a
car back to stock over just deciding to customize, lack of factory
parts and such. im never suprized to be beaten by a restored car,
although the classing of cars at todays shows prevent that situation
from happening very often...
