I'm pretty sure I bought Kit #3 because I'm also going to dye all of the other vinyl pieces like the door panels and console parts. All of these parts have significant sun damage. I used about 1/3 of a 32 oz. bottle of the dye for the seats and will probably use about another 1/3 for the remaining parts. The dye is really thin (like the consistency of rubbing alcohol) but the stuff covers great with one coat. Also, I have used about 1/2 bottle of vinyl prep - due to the poor condition of my seats, particularly the driver's seat, I had to use alot of it while wet sanding to get the desired results. I've used about 1/3 of a bottle of the other liquids so far.
Also, so you know what kind of effort you are looking at it took me about 4-6 hours per seat to wet-sand, with me being pretty particular about the results of the sanding.
Thanks again to Mike N. for the help w/ the interior paint from a while back. I spray painted all of the interior components a couple of weekends ago and they look mint.
Maybe sometime this summer I will have everything back together and be able to drive the car!
