Funny, because the '87-'90 McLarens W-E-R-E based upon the LX 2-Dr
Notchback Coupe, and through the D32 special build, one of the
alterations was to install the GT front fascia onto it. The purpose
of this was to gain access to the Fog Lights and related wiring
hardware, and switchgear so that ascMcLaren didn't have to do it. I
don't share your negative feelings regarding the "look" of it.
