jdawd, I assume we are talking 1984-1986 Mercury Capri SC 2-Seat
Roadster.... Yes??????

If so, I was told by a factory employee, many years ago that the
Power Window Motors in THOSE cars were from a Ford Bronco II.

Reason given was that the normal Pwr. Wind. Motor would no longer fit
between the inner side of the door skin and the NEW ascMcLaren
installed interior leather door panel, with the speaker, and long
straps to pull it closed by. I don't say this with 100% personal
knowledge, it's what I got handed down 2nd hand.
Ask Hank. Maybe he has more insight on it....
