OK, to register, there is a "register" link at the top of the first page.

Fill out your info and your CORRECT email address. You should get an email
with a hyperlink in it.

You MUST click on the hyperlink to activate your account. Then you can log
in.

I just made a "test" account and got an email in 5seconds.

I clicked on the link in the email and it activated. Then I logged in and
it seems fine.
