On my 2000 Corvette coupe: HU5KER. As you might guess, I am a Cornhusker, and HUSKER was taken. No one ever notices that the third "letter" is a five instead of an "S."

My 2005 GTO plate reads "6.0 GOAT." I wanted "NU GOAT" (double meaning, since the car was "new" and I went to NU), but it was taken, much to my surprise.

Believe it or not, most people don't know the meaning of mine! I usually explain it as, "six and a half liters of Mercury"!

I want to get one for my GPIV when it gets out of the paint shop. Here's what I'm contemplating:

You know after it's painted you will have to bring it to Michigan to have the stripes but on :D

Maybe around WOODWARD time for the get together.

or Maybe if a couple cars get painted we could all meet at the Sticker place at the same time. 8)

I already have the decals, and am having the shop who's painting it put them on.

But once it is done, I am planning on bringing it to one of the GPIV get-togethers...

I had to try to get ya here.

But it would be a GREAT road trip and WOODWARD was a blast.

Just wish I could have worked a couple more bugs out before hand.

Of the GPIV? I know, I've been slacking. :sleepy: I need to get some updated photos on there. I created that site for the '79 RS, but eventually there will be almost as much on the GPIV... :burnout:

I like the first one GPIV, it says it clearly to all.

Also just a note to those concerned about mentioning or displaying their plate numbers. Plate numbers are in fact public information.

My McLarens are all grown up & old, and have their own "apartments" and none of them live at home

Cool plates! Have you posted pictures of the gn? What's the history behind it; mileage, number of owners, condition???

I may have missed this, just curious.

It's been awhile since I have been on here.

86 GN is as follows: I am the 4th owner, painted once in 00 or 01. All original parts except radio (I just put in a correct unit), exhaust is 3" single, and JE pistons. It is a hardtop car with all options including digital climate control and dash. I also replaced the driver seat cover and tinted the windows to preserve the interior. 68K miles. Runs an 8.0 in the eighth on DR's and 104 octane. That was my first/only track run in this car. All owners were south GA and 2nd owner moved to north FL so it has been titled in FL also. 86 is on left in pic.
