Sandy, I remember the Pontiac you refer to. Matter of fact, we saw one at the Charlotte Auto Fair a couple of years ago. I, too, love that car. I believe it was for sale, but don't remember the price. Believe it was around $6500. It was in very good shape, too.

'Ya, it was a GTO by another name.

VERY few people know (knew) that there was in fact a GTO in 1981. It was sold only in Canada, but some financial-thinking "importers" managed to get more than 4 handfulls over the baorder & into the USA. I think somewhere around 300 were made. If anyone is interested - speak up - I have the vital stats and will go find them.
Sandy passed away in 2012. He will be forever missed.
