lose the vert and upgrade your garage by raising the roof
or adding on.If you had 10ft ceilings you could do the Coupe
and vert easily. With higher ceilings you put a good hobby lift in there.

I have a 6 car garage in Chicago and I am thinking about doing it.

Sandy, I feel your pain. I'll soon be 59 and have too many cars. My 66 Mustang GT Fasttback is screaming for attention and, unfortunately for some of the others, it has to come first. I'm afraid the "sea baby" will have to go to finance sheetmetal repairs on the GT. Over $3000 worth.
I will offer it on here first when the time comes.
I am confident that you will make the right decision, when the time comes. In answer to your question, it would be hard to put a value on your coupe due to it's rarity.
On another note, I will be sending you a PM on a related subject at Negus suggestion.

For the amount it is costing you just to store the cars would make me sell them all.
Then I would buy a GT500KR vert and have the ultimate mustang.
The bumber on the Shelby should have the bumber sticker that says "I'm spending my childrens inheritance"!!

What in the world is going on? I have not been on the board in a few weeks just logged in and Sandy is thinking of selling the coupe and Mike wants to scratch it. My lord whats next  Sandy if it were me i would sell the silver vert if i recall you bought it used? Keep the 2 you bought new and enjoy the 86 and blue 90 they bring you joy i hear warm and fuzzys in your words every time you tell someone about them mostley on the 86 coupe. And Mike i have a couple of real nice low mile Limos if you want to put a mark or two on
