Hi Cindy,
Ty for posting these pics. Ive been out of the loop a lil, did you take these yourself? I try to keep track of what details I notice. I see this has the Pony emblem on the dash and also curtain style door pockets. So few 90's were made that you wonder if something was added on later aftermarket or as a replacement. For instance the door pockets could be from replacement panels or was it original? Did they recieve 25th anniversary emblems like the rest of the Mustangs produced from 17 April '89- 16 April '90, which later became just Pony emblems.

Hi Nick,
I will try taking some more shots here and posting those.
No, these were taken by the man who sold it in Florida. Jim has an 89 GT Anniversary Mustang. From my research then and checked tonight, it said that " the 25th anniversary emblem was placed on the passenger side of all Mustangs manufactured from mid April, 1989 untill late production 1990." They went on both the 89's and 90's. I believe Mustang began in 1964 1/2 so that would explain the middle of the year. Since they all started out as LX's this would make sense that some would have it. The one on the 90 is exactly the same as Jim's 89 GT's. I think I have seen the side curtains on other pictures of 90's.

Hi Cindy,
My concerns were if ASC removed the emblems or left them in place on the Mustangs they recieved as they had a little dispute on issuing an anniversary car. As Sandy mentioned ASC wanted to make their own 25th anniversary marking their 25th year in business which ironically was the Mustang's birthday as well. April 17th 1964 at the NY Worlds Fair was the debut of the Mustang hence it's anniversary and date they started using those emblems. After about a year they replaced the 25th anniversary Pony emblem with a very similar looking Pony emblem w/o the notation of the anniversary. I was always disappointed Ford had not done something significant enough for the anniversary as they tried in 1984 for instance but Shelby sued them for using the GT350 name on the doors, hence a reason why we do not have a revised GT350 but yet have a GT500. Wow I can get caught up with talking about these cars so easily, always loved them. Sorry for the rant.
I also wish they had done more for the Mustang Anniversary. It is a shame there always some to be some issue between companies. Yes, and with only 65 1990's there are not many to compare to each other.
I read in one of your postings, you were having some medical problems. Hope you are recovering and improving each day.

Correction on 25th anniversary emblem date of issue. I am not to familar with this site but figured I would post it anyway. I mean if it's in black and white it must be true right? lol jk.
"Ford's only gesture at a 25th Anniversary Mustang was small indeed: a passenger-side dashboard emblem with galloping-horse logo affixed to all models built between March 27, 1989, and the end of model-year 1990."
I spoke with Hank today for something else, but asked him about the 25th Anniversary emblem. He said they were put on some but not all of the 90's. I somethimes think they just did whatever they felt like it on any particular day.

No. Just to shed some light on this when Ford produced these Mustangs they all had an emblem on their dash from the start of the anniversary of 1989, changed and revised after one year mark in 1990 and continued with new look to the end of the 1993 model. During the 1990 model year the change was it no longer read "25th Anniversary" along the bottom of the emblem. This had nothing to do with ASC or their anniversary.
I think I might know someone with a 90 who does not have a pony emblem on their dash. You might know him too. I think his name is Sandy "Stocker" I just looked at the picture he has posted on his website (the Silver Anniversary) and don't see one. And I am pretty sure that car has not been tampered with. haha So Maybe Hank had a point, that not all had them. Or am I missing something?
and there were 12 "Silver Anniversary Editions" (not 10) and they were numbered 1900 to 1911. Mine is 1904 and # 1907 is in Florida in Tampa, but it's not Hank's.
The other 10 were never made, leaving just 2 made.
Sandy passed away in 2012. He will be forever missed.
