HERE'S HOW THEY ROLLED OFF OF THE FORD ASSEMBLY LINE !
1987-1990

* Ford Mustang LX 2-Door Sedan
* If Blue Interior was selected, the exterior of the car was painted Oxford
White. If ANY other interior color was selected, the exterior of the car
was painted Raven Black.
* 302 V-8
* DELETE Standard (LX) Bodyside Pin Striping
* Install GT Articulated Bucket Seats - Cloth Covered
* Install Thunderbird Headrests in Cloth - Stationary, Not adjustable
* Install Mustang Convertible Doors
* Install Mustang Convertible Door Glass - Tinted
* Install Mustang Convertible Seat/Shoulder Belt Assembly
* Install Mustang GT Mufflers
* Install Mustang Convertible Rear View Mirror with Dual Courtesy Lamps
* Install Interior Door Panels from Mustang Convertible
* OMIT headliner, Interior Window Frame Mouldings, X-cept W'Shield Mld
* Toss into trunk Convertible-Cut Carpeting, rolled & taped
* OMIT all exterior window frame mouldings, except windshield.
* OMIT Dome Light and wiring & related hardware.
* OMIT Rear Seat, Rear Seat Belts & Rear Seat area Quarter Panels.
* OMIT Rear Seat Package Shelf
* OMIT All exterior Nameplates & Emblems
* Include in Trunk Mustang Convertible Sun Visors
* OMIT Deck Lid Lock.
* Place Carpet & Sun Visors into trunk & secure trunk lid with packaging
tape, placing it over the hole where the lock assembly would have
been.
* Customer's Choice of 4-Speed Automatic -OR- 5-Speed Manual
* All Mules were ordered with Code D32 (the ascMcLaren Code) that

Air Conditioning
Fleet Only Tinted Windshield
Power Door Locks
Am Fm Stereo with Cassette Tape Player

Yeah. That is kinda weird. They would need to source another lock and rekey it???

We only have electric trunk pop on 87-90...No key.

ASCMcLaren used the hole in the deck lid to run the wiring thru to the spoiler's center mounted stop light. As said, also, Verts never had key lock trunk. You used your key fob & press UNLOCK twice! On one push, the doors unlock, and a second push pops the deck lid. Pushing LOCK will lock the doors, you manually shut the trunk.

No trunk lock on vert Capri too. Electric or cable.

Yes, we with Mustangs also have the cable "pull". It's located in the driver's side rear interior compartment. I have used it less than 4 times, afraid it will snap off. El Cheapo wire. Anyway, much easier to use the remote.

I have the Azura Blue '90 at home. I am NEVER at ease driving it. So, on Friday I am going to my storage place & taking it & leaving it there, and bringing home the Silver Anniversary. I have a show - my favorite show, just 9 miles from home, coming up. MAY 17TH. I'd like to take it, but maybe I can't. Show starts at 9AM and is over at 4:15PM
That's a long day for me & it may be too much. I tire out. I don't have my old strength, any longer. 7 hours.... I dunno. Will see that morning. Wife wants me to go & look and leave the toyzz home.
Such a terrific show - I wish all of you could go to it, as my guests.

Yes snow!! Snowflakes are falling right now. Winter is terribly long here this year.

This weekend - I just watched the 11 PM news, it will be 71 on Friday, 82 on Saturday & 85 on Sunday, and all 3 days, SUNNY ! AND....NO HUMIDITY!!!
