A Great Honor For Our Car

Hi all - had the car at a local show this weekend (see my "Carlisle" thread for the details). Took 2nd in class. But the high point was something else.

Every July in Pittsburgh we have the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. This is a 2 week affair with a huge car show and vintage races on city streets on the final weekend. On Monday of the second week, they hold an Invitational Car Show in the Shadyside area of the city. They block off 4-5 blocks of Walnut Street (a very ritzy neighborhood) and invite only 130 cars for the display. Kind of a high end event.

So anyway, while at the Oakmont show this weekend, the director of the Invitational was there. He saw the ascMcLaren and offered us an invite to the show. Quite an unexpected honor. So once again I get to represent!! Gee but I do love this car.
