Beautiful day here in Florida. Top down, and down the road for a while.

First few miles were kind of rough. Hadn't been out all summer and the flats spots on the tires were very noticeable! Other than that - performed flawlessly.

Damn is it fun to drive. had the Corvette out yesterday and not nearly as enjoyable.

High today of 50 and its been raining for the last three days with a low of 37.

Im hoping for a couple more days to drive my capri before it gets put away.

I think we went to our last car show of the season for the McLaren. A nice show, about 400 cars, at a local school. And a little cold for us, around 54 & windy. No trophy this time. Participant judging. Too many local clubs, groups, friends, cliques, etc. for an outsider to win much. And I really don't think many there even knew what our car was. In the 2 seater class, a Cobra, a T-Bird and an MG-B won. But it was a great day and at least a couple people asked about the car. And I did see a couple of old friends there as well. All good.

We have 2 more events - one for the Mustang and one for the Bonneville. Then all 3 go away until next spring. One of the saddest days of the year.

That's been my experience at each of the 3 shows I have taken my '88 to. Most have no clue what it is, many not even sure it is a Mustang (one guessed Cadillac Cimarron) ...a few are fascinated and want to know more about it. One show had a fleet of Camaros present, very few over 5 yes old. Lot's of 2014 fresh from the showroom Camaros mentioned during presentations. No menton at all of the McLaren, Shelby Cobra, or Roush Mustang that were present. A '67 Fastback did get an award. The classiness of the Mustang McLarens is just more subtle than many other cars.
