Where do I source these?:

I just picked up a set of ascMcLaren Coupe seats and all the white grommets where the front seat hinges are deteriorating. I also noticed half of the plastic bearing on one of my seats in my car has broken off.
This MUST be common. Where do I get some?

Mine are pretty crapped out too, I can't help you out on where we can get them though? I am betting that Ford doesn't sell repair parts for the seats, especially little frikin plastic spacer/washers, but i could be wrong? This will probably be one of those deals where you hunt high and low to find something that replicates that part and that you can buy new.

Yep, I have been looking a "flanged" nylon bearings. They make them in the right size. It would not be 100% correct but these things are not very noticeable anyways.
Either I can buy them in lots of 1000. Or for $6 each.
I may get some nylon stock and have my brother turn out a few.
If I could find another application for them, I have seen other nylon flanged bearings near the same size for $2 each.

My dad says I may need to visit a "real" hardware store.

Ain't THAT the Truth!!!
I stopped going to Roam DePot 3 years ago. Now I go to Sears Home Centers. Much better, except while they have EVERYTHING, nobody in the store knows where it is located. It's like an Easter Egg Hunt. Ya know its there.....but where ?? ?? ??

Sandy passed away in 2012. He will be forever missed.

Probably not what you needed Mike, but thought I would forward info just in case these might work.

Nope that doesn't look like the right size. I got my brother to turn a few from tsome nylon stock on his lathe...
I just need to see if they will work. When I looked at them again and played with the seats, I see that when you fold the seat forward, the upper seat support bar separates from the lower seat frame and thats why the bushing is kind of weird in the back. Tough to describe.
