Speedometer

Another question.....my car has an 85 mph speedometer installed, I thought I read they came with 140's It looks original and the carfax shows the mileage increasing each year to where it is now - has it been replaced?

What year car?

It was probably not replaced.

These cars have all sorts of quirks to them. The cars were hand made and all kinds of build inconsistancies got through.

Looks like the 140 speedo was a running change in 89...
