1985 Mercury capri ASC MCLAREN (Fruitland Park)

1985 Mercury Capri ASC MCLAREN, this is a rare car, ur not going to find many of these left, 4bbl, 5.0 HO, roller rockers, lifters, i bought the car 4 years ago for $7,500. I just took it on a 2800 mile trip and had no problem, it gets around 28 mpg on the highway. It runs GREAT and STRONG, the 5 speed stick is loads of fun, The Leather Int is in new cond, This is not the original color, it was the 2-tone blue with blue rims from the factory, This is A Real ASC And has BOTH official ASC Tags In place. 352-504-2536 I will trade or partial trade On Commercial Lawn mowers and equipment. Looking for 2 mowers, blower, weed eater, and edger combo. I have truck and trailer.

I am by no means an expert on the Mercs. however given the hood scoop, seats and lack of mileage disclosure (prob. sky high) I would say the price is high. Please feel free to "edumacate" me on the subject.

Wrong color. Wrong stripes, wrong ground effects and a completely wrong interior.

If you take a rare car and "make it your own", don't bother trying to get any money back out of it. In effect, this guy (or more likely the previous owner) has worked very hard to make a hollow shell of an ascMcLaren. Everything needs to be removed and many parts purchased to bring the car back to even resemble one.

He probably wants close to his $7500 when it is closer to a $2500k car. If the current owner didn't make these changes, I feel sorry for him because the previous owner really found sucker.
