I wish blue jeans, old cars, and boots would go out of style.

nice looking ride. its missing the rear skirt though. looks a bit odd having the straight pipes in the back although I have always been a fan of them. missing the passenger side serial number. looks like it is a nice repaint?

It's a d@mn shame. The Mershon's, Schmidtt's, corvette dealers buy up all the vette's they can. They don't let'em flood the market. (Think Debeer's and diamonds) They keep the price of vette's high. People who buy vette's tend to keep them in good condition because they have the prospect of making money when they are ready to sell.
It really saddens me to see these cars treated like something less than a GT. Hell, the 93 yellow feature cars are going for more than the asc's.
On Hank's site, a yellow ascMclaren Mustang w/ 20K ish miles sits. The car looks like it is in "new" condition. $13,000. That is it.

I have never lost money on a Corvette. I've only owned 3. A 1958, and 2 1980's. The first '80 was an L48 with a 4 speed. But it had a 200 lb. pressure plate in it and it tore my knee up, driving it in traffic. My present '80 is an L82, automatic and very comfortable to drive. Had it almost 7 years now. Paid $8600.00 for it from Family Estate Sales in Margate, Fl. We've put 10,000 miles on it in the 6+ years we've had it. Pretty sure I can sell it for close to 14k, but I don't plan on selling it.
Taking both the Vette and the McLaren to a car show, in Hudson, Fl. Saturday. It's the first attempt at a show by the Vietnam Veterans of America at VFW Post 4412. Just in case anyone else reads this and is in the area! The club opens at 0730 for breakfast. 0800-1100 for registration ($ 8.00), with entertainment, food and drink available.
