Some good pics of automotive travesty.

This is a place where we discuss anything BUT ascMcLaren cars. TV, movies, vacations, family, pets, girlfriends, college, school, OTHER cars, whatever....that kinda thing. Taboo is Religion, Ethnic Background, Politics.

I just added that site to my favorites.

Like Peter, I can probably add a pic a day. Its amazing how far a car will go if you're ignorant to its need for repair. Its distance and amazement factor are also directly proportional to its safety level, too.

A 'friend' of ours was talking about what a bargain he got on a used Cadillac. Looks nice. As he drove away, windows closed, A/C on full blast and the radio blaring, I could hear the distinct 'clunk' of CV joints. A LOUD clunk, clunk, clunk. And maybe a bad RR wheel bearing.

I wish I had been around when they closed the auto lab here - there was a vented disc brake rotor that had the outer fiction surface machined away by what was left of the pad on that side, exposing the radial webbing in between the two sides - it was amazing, but got sent to the scrap dealer.
