Mine is a 1986 example. That thin strip should be
on all of these cars, shouldn't it? it is the piece
that trims off the edge of the doors sheetmetal, and
has the rubber window seal on it. The triangular bit
is a seperate piece, were they one piece on the
later cars? I remember my 1980, and 1981 Capris having
this same strip. I thought the Mclarens only had the
triangle added on.
