Anthony,
I say change the exaust! I am all for keeping them orignal
but.... You will get a horsepower gain for sure, atleast myself and
everyone I know in any type of car has benefited. If you are that
worred about "hurting the value" then keep the orignal exaust in
storage. Plus, the other thing is since that the orignal exuast is
from a Mustang, it will not be that hard to locate an original
setup.
Plus if you end up do sell it most people are not going to
be that concerned with the change because, IT IS NOT SOMETHING THAT
IS PERMINATE.
I came to a realization through my father experinces. My
father has had tons and I mean tons of car, lots and lots of them
rare. Like '67 455 hardtop Vettes, Pantras, Trans Ams,a Grand
National, GTOs, amoung others many others. Most of them he regrets
selling. Some he kept orignal, some he modified, but most
modifications that were not perminate, but most importantly he had
fun with them. So that is what I am doing trying to keep and most
importantly ENJOY my ASC as long as I can. Thats just my quick
opinion.
And if you need exaust help, Mufflex in New Jersey are the
best around. They are Nationally Known. They are honest, if you don't
need something or if it will not benefit you a whole lot they will
tell you. They are good. If you need contact info let me know.
