Subject: Convertable top problem?

Body:
I had a top put on my 87 and it was too small.The installer sent the
old top back to the maker. They said that I had an 86 frame so the 87
top wouldnt fit right.I think it was the 48th built that year.So the
installer modified it to fit.It looks good now, but it cost for the
change. Does that sound possible? Dan
