Sandy, I don't think it's the receiving unit 'cause like you said the
other remote works...Take the remote (that doesn't work) apart and
make sure the button (that you push to disarm/arm the car) is making
contact with the button on the inside. Also, look at the contacts
and make sure no wires are hanging off or have corrosion on them. To
find the receiving unit...try this...get in the car and set the alarm
off...you should hear a clicking sound...trace the clicking sound and
you will find the unit...if you have to, stuff a rag in the siren or
disconnect it temporarily as to not drive yourself and your neighbors
nuts.
