Subject: Anyone need paint?

I've been working on compiling this for over one year. This has been
a "pet-project" of mine. SIKKENS - the company headquartered in
Holland, with American headquarters in Norcross, Georgia would hate
me for this, but ... first a disclaimer! If you need extensive
paintwork on your car, the ONLY way to go is by using the SIKKENS
PROCESS! Call 411 info for the tele # of Sikkens in Norcross,
Georgia and give them your ZIP code & they'll give you the name of
the closest body shop to you that uses the SIKKENS paint process.
SIKKENS paint is about the finest money can buy, and therefore it is
very expensive when compared to other brands of automotive paint.
Pricewise, well it's like Mercedes Benz pricing. But, there are
other times, when spending $35.00 for a quart of paint is
unnecessary. Say you have a few door dings, or stone chips, or a
scratched bumper fascia, or chipped bumper fascia? You NEED some
paint, for touch up ~ ~ BUT, SIKKENS doesn't sell paint in ultra
small quantities, and all of their paint needs preparation prior to
use. What to do?
well, I have a listing of DuPONT/DITZLER paints, that are identical
matches to our car's colors. You can go to any DuPont/Ditzler (PPG)
paint outlet, and they'll mix some up for you via computer formula
while you wait. (Normal time is like 10-15 minutes). But, you need
the DuPont/Ditzler code numbers for the color, right? Well, that's
been my project. There are four (4) colors that I am having hell-on-
earth to find, and they are missing from this listing. Those missing
colors (and I do apoligize) are:-
Atlantic Blue (1997-1998)
Dino Yellow (1990)
Regatta Blue (1987-1988)
Coral Red (1990) a.k.a. Cotton Candy Pink
Herewith are the rest. The numbers are the DuPont/Ditzler number and
will provide the mixer with the correct digital code to mix the paint.

I hope that this helps someone.
The chances of obtaining the other missing 4 colors are, at this
point in time, well SLIM ! They would have to be obtained thru
SIKKENS.
