Subject: New Car

My new car arrived yesterday (Saturday the 10th) and she is
flawless! I cannot believe the condition it is in. You could put it
on any showroom floor!! I sat in it, looked under it, into the
engine bay, the trunk, & tried everything today, and there is not a
single flaw. I paid dearly for this, so I am glad I made a good buy.
I paid $18,500.00 for it. It's a 1990 asc/McLaren with 7,202 miles
on it, or like 600 miles per year. She's Sterling Silver Metallic
with the Scarlet interior & a black roof. NOT the color combo I
personally would have picked, but I care more about the condition
than the color(s). (I woulda liked a snowball...Keweenau White with
Oxford White leather & a white vinyl top. 'Ya....I know, they crack!)
Options are the Automatic Trans and the asc/McLaren Installed Code
Alarm, Keyless Entry & Illuminated Entry system. Lacking is the
Whistler Spectrum-II Superhetrodyne Integral Remote Radar Detector.
The driver's seat shows no wear, likewise the carpets. The only
downer is the selling dealer's name decal on the rear bumper has been
there for 12 years, and the thing is ugly!! I'd love to remove it,
but I fear the circle (it's round) would show after I removed it. I
do not mind a dealer's nametag on my car's rear - but this one is
especially UGLY.
S A N D Y (now with 3 of these things - I wish they'd find a cure
for this illness > McLaren-itis)
