Subject: Tonneau Pull Down Motor

Body:
I am new to this group. I have an '85 ASC McLaren SC. The plastic
gears on the pull down motor for the Tonneau cover disintegrated. I
saw posted that a pull down trunk motor for a Cadillac DeVille will
work on an '88 Mclaren, will it work for an '85? Thanks
