I just bought a 1986 ascMclaren convertable and it is best thing I could ever ask for. I never had a sports car but allways wanted one,I went to many car shows in my life and I allways wished that I could have a nice car to take to car shows and sit back in a lawn chair watching people stare at my car. Well it came true I was on my way to work one day and something cought my eye a red mustang (well that is what I thought it was) It was real dirty, Almost like it was siting on the side of a dirt road for some time,It took me two weeks before I stoped to look at it becouse I knew I did not have enough money to buy a secound car.As sonn as I walked up to it I fell in love I never seen a cooler car but then I saw the words ascMcLaren "What is that I thought" So I talked to guy that was selling it, He buys cars from down south and brings them to michigan to sell them, He told me little of what he knew about the car. He said that it was 1 of 245 ever built and that it was completly original he was right original all the way down to the plugs and wires. I thought damn he is going to want top doller for it but I asked him and he told me well I have had it for some time people did look at it but thay did not know what it was and sence it was not a mustang thay did not want it. He then told me he would sell it to me for 4,000.00. I had to refinance my 97 grand am to get it but now it is mine. I took it home cleand it for days and it turned out like new. Then took it to an appraiser becouse I have a lean on it and the insurance company needed to know how much to insure it for, 10,000.00 he said I have the paper work and all I could not beleave it. I took the car to my first car show last week and people could not stop talking about it every place I go people tell me how much thay like my car. Life could not be any better......
