Ok just to clarify...YES...the stock cover will have to be cut...when
mine was apart to get painted I remember thinking it was weird that
the stock cover was cut. Don't cut it too far up (towards the
molding) cause the asc piece has to screw in to it somehow. Hope
that helps a bit.
