In 1884 & 1985 the only interiors & roofs available with Muscat Red
were Sand Beige Interior & Tan top. In 1986, Dark Charcoal Grey
Interior joined in as well as a black top.
No records were kept pertaining to 1984/85/86 transmission
installation breakouts....
The Recaros were standard in 84 & 85. They went to the option list
for 1986, 1987 & 1988. ($1,765.00) ~ They were discontinued at the
end of 1988 production due to problems and the lack of Recaro making
good on their warrentee.
No! No asc/McLaren ever left the factory with 16" rims. They would
have beginning in 1991, had there BEEN a 1991 !
Coupes wore P225x50/15" Goodrich Comp T/A(s) and convertibles wore
P225x60/15" Good-Year Eagles.
The Custom Interior door panels were part of the Recaro Seating
Package, thusly were standard fare for 84 & 85 and were included with
the Recaro Seating Package for 1986. (Convertibles Only all 3
years). With the Recaro Seating in the MUSTANGS (1987 & 1988) the
door panels were again Custom, but NOT the ones from the Capri
Convertibles!! Different.
