Subject: Personal Thoughts

My involvement and knowledge of the ASC goes back to 1985 when a
close
friend leased and subsequently bought out his '85 Red Roadster. I
became the second owner and have maintained the car along with a
number of others in a personal collection. My relationship with
Sandy
is also "longterm" and with his help I was able to locate a number of
parts and information ( particularly on the engine which is odd in
that year of production ). His help enabled me to restore the car to
its present excellent running condition. It had been "sitting" for a
few years and the normal...."wearing out of parts" was in full
motion.
Thankfully that process was reversed and today I fully enjoy having
the ASC as a "Summer" driver. Many, many times I called him.... (we
did not have the internet operation going back then ) ..... and his
ongoing assistance was the only reason that I was able to put the ASC
back into its present condition. This friendship and trust which
came
about during that time was the reason why I sent him all of the cars
history and owner information, including mine. Without any intention
of "disrespecting" anyone within this group, I would simply like to
say ........ Personally, I not wish to have my information
released.
I have entrusted it all to Sandy and that is where I would like it
to
remain. Thank you for letting me have my "say" on this matter...
