Subject: 1988 McLaren - Sterling Silver - Blue Ragtop - Gray Interior ? What about this one Sandy ?

Hi Sandy...

I was spending a quiet weekend looking over some of the treasures that you
posted over at the
http://www.ascMcLaren.com web site.

What caught my interest were the 1988 production stats that you posted at :

What further caught my attention was the one lone 1988 McLaren that was
produced with the Sterling
Silver paint job, Blue Ragtop and Gray Interior. It seemed to me that that
would have been a
very Mercedes looking color combination and yet only one in that combination
was produced.

So I thought I would once again tax your knowledge of all things mystical and
magical about the
McLarens and see if you have any idea what ever happened to this very unique
lone McLaren :

ie.
a ) Would you have the McLaren production number for that specific vehicle ?
b ) Would you have any knowledge about whether it survived or went to that
great auto-yard in the
sky, or
c ) Would you have the VIN number for that specific car so that I could try to
look it up over at
CarFax to see what I could learn about it ?

It seems like such a great color combination that I was very surprised that
only one was ever
produced.
