Not much cost. So I hope. I have access to a moldmaker that deals in miniatures and porcelain dolls. Seems that the molds covered with felt would work fine. I am more worried about the stress cracks than anything else.
If it fails I will still have my old slightly damaged piece. (and I'll be out around $50 No biggie.
If it succeeds I'll see about making myself a set of covers for the rear too. I never had those!
