Subject: [ASC McLaren ] Re: Teak dash and headlight covers

Body:
I bought a complete set from Hank, front and rears (7 years ago) and
one came with a small crack. I have since forgotten what Hank
charged and don't know if I really want to remember. I was greatful
to get them for sure...and because I know they cost a fair penny and
are so fragile (Sandy had warned me years ago about closing your hood
too hard) I am going to find it hard to put them back on the car for
fear of having to buy a new set every 6 monhs.

I will be willing to buy a second backup "repro" set if its
reasonable priced. I was also considering seeing if my brother (who
has a degree in industrial design) would make me a mold for these and
see if we couldn't try to make some.

Lord knows, if you are successful you should be able to sell quite a
few sets in this small group that would pay for your effort. If you
go out on Ebay you may find you can sell all you make.
