im sure all the mustang ascs that i have seen were lower than mustangs, however i own the capri asc so i cant say 100% bout the stang version, but when i replaced mine with 1 1/2 progressive rate springs they were the same size as the stock as far as height. it rode much better with the new springs, but the old ones may have been worn out so im really not sure about the spring rate. but the Syspension techniques springs would be recomended by me if replacement is required. jdawg
