The VIN would indeed bear that out. I just find it amazing that in
all these years, and looing at 100s of McLarens (Capri version) that
I have never seen one like this. Look for yourself, here on our
site.Go to links, the bottom one Tom's Photo Album and look at all
the 85 converts. shot from the rear. I can't see any allthough the
50 1984s were all exactly like the one in question! Your answer
makes sence.
