First off don't think I am attacking the power of your mac. Just a thought... Mine never "chirped" in stock condition. I'd have the TV cable/rod adjustment checked. Could be it has too much pressure (which can and does often cause early trans failure.) Many backyard mechanics and even some professionals don't know the procedures/have the tools to correctly adjust these things.
