Okay, we are KOOKING!
VIN 603688 is a F.P. (Full Packaged) 1986 ascMcLaren Coupe. She was
the # 12 1986 F.P. Coupe of 115 that ascMcLaren made for MODEL-YEAR
1986. Over at Ford Motor Company (Dearborn Assembly Plant) she was
the 7th consecutive VIN 1986 Mercury Capri made out of 115 Spec.
Built to D32 Specs, to become an ascMcLaren Coupe.
She was received at ascMcLaren FROM Ford on November 26th 1985. She
was shipped OUT of ascMcLaren on her way to her ordering dealer on
December 13th (MY BIRTHDAY!!!) of 1985. Her shipper # was 58517, and
yes, she is & was Oxford White!
IF it's an automatic (did someone say that???????), then it is 1 of 9
Full Packaged 1986 Coupes made! Excluding my own, I have found about
4 of them. Yours would be #5. So I have 6 of the 9 "found".
Yours would be 1 of 3 Automatic Oxford White examples made. The
other identical one I found, to yours, is in Seattle Washington.
Yours is also the only Oxford White example I have found WITH the
lower striping kit. Did you purchase this car brand new?
