Subject: Re: Frantic about a Top Switch

Body:
Tony,

I see two solutions. One if the wires are color coated. Maybe
someone in this group can please pull out their switch and tell the
correct order.

Two, and I am no electrician here, do you have a voltmeter? If so
this will tell you which wires are hot then label them. Again if
someone in the group can go clockwise from the 1 o'clock position to
see which wires are hot too (or left to right, top to bottom), it is
a start. If I remember correctly two are for the top motor, two are
for the landau cover, and one is a ground. I can use this
information too because the previous owner of my '88 replaced my
switch with an older capri style, I'd like to convert back.

Hope this helps.
