All ascMcLarens (1987-1990) came from Ford to ascMcLaren painted
black. The exception to this were units ordered with blue interior
which came in white in 1987, 1989 & 1990. 1988s came in pastel grey.
That is why your underhood is black.

The original windshield support frame was cut by ascMcLaren and then
bent rearward 10-degree rake. It was also then lead filled for added
strength. Then the plastic color-keyed finishing moulding was applied.

Most have perfectly fitting trunk lids. Your Ford dealer can
probably adjust that item.

No Mustang can be turned into an ascMcLaren, it is absolutely
imposible.
