Body:

Ram Page - 97; the production figures in that magazine article that
I wrote 10 years ago < maybe more ? > are incorrect. They were taken
from SHIPPING NUMBERS. Later, we found many cars from time-to-time
were NOT shipped, but driven to their respective selling/ordering
dealers. Others, like mine weree picked up at the factory, on Autry
Avenue, in Livonia Michigan.
The CORRECT production numbers folow:-

00025 - 1984 Coupe
00050 - 1984 Convert.
00150 - 1985 Coupe
00030 - 1985 Grand Prix IV Coupe
00257 - 1985 Convert.
00115 - 1986 Coupe
00047 - 1986 EuroCoupe
00245 - 1986 Convert.
00479 - 1987 Convert.
1,015 - 1988 Convert.
00247 - 1989 Convert.
00065 - 1990 Convert
00001 - 1991 Convert.
00001 - 1991 Coupe
Both 1991's were crushed for scrap and never left the ascMcLaren
premises. The Coupe was black, the convertible was bright red.
The coupe was UGLY - overburdened with wave-type striping decals.
The Convert was 100% the same as 1989/1990 but with a new low profile
pedestal type spoiler, and new wheels due to the upgrade to 16"
rather than 15" wheels. They retained the same style as 1989/1990
BUT were 16".
My 3 cars are:
The final 1990 made. The 7th to the last 1990 made, and the 5th from
the last 1986 Coupe made. The '90s have 2,055 and 7,237 miles on
them, while the coupe has 566 miles on it.
