The above comment no longer applies, eBay frowns highly on this
practice and any and all fees will apply to this auction no matter
who wins it. The only way to reverse the fees if he did indeed bid
on it himself would be to file a Non-Paying Bidder alert and then a
Final Value Fee refund but you can only get 3 of those before you
are booted off eBay. That is why some people have what are
called "throwaway id's" but you'll never know since this jerk has a
private auction. Private auctions were created to prevent auction
interference but now they are usually used by disreputable sellers
or Adult Category sellers(porn & sex toys).
