Well, ascbr {Who ever you are....} I know the ENTIRE story behind the
car.
The man, Ken out in Ok. is/was/is into COUGARS and the guy who
originally owned this McLaren had it for a very short time (might be
a month) and his heart was set on a 428SCJ Cougar (1969/1970) when he
came upon Ken. Ken had exactly WHAT he needed to live happily ever-
after, and a SWAP was made, meaning Ken paid about $23,000 for said
McLaren. I believe the year was 1991. I do know that Ken has taken
exceptional care of this car, and the mileage is 100% legit!
Furthermore, only 5 car for 1990 were made stick, and this is the
only one made in RED, as Ken states! (The others were Pink, Black,
White and Yellow.)
The car is very nice. In my opinion it is NOT worth $38,000.00. My
blue one beats it by 200 miles, as I have 2,700 on it.
I'd say she **IS** worth $26,000.
