you really have to try and do everything you can to prevent the
thief from wanting your car. if they want it they will get it. the
club that locks on the steering wheel can be sprayed with freon and
shattered with a hammer, not to mention just about every steering
wheel can be cut in less that 30 seconds and the club slipped off.
im not real sure about the brake club, but if it hooks to the
steering wheel, the cut does away with that too. but these items
may make the would be thief look elsewere if he is not willing to
commit his time to your ride. if you do get an alarm, mount the
siren on the inside of the car, people dont notice the siren going
off to much anymore, but i bet it would be a real pain in the ass
drivin with that thing blarin in your face....here at my house i
have one siren on the outside and 2 on the inside, if someones gonna
hang around there at least gonna get a headache....lol
the alarm i have on my truck is an older alpine with a pager that
alerts you to which trigger has been set off---door, trunk, window,
jack, bump, or whatever. whatever you do the best policy is not to
leave the car unatteneded, ever..... thieves are quick, hence the
movie"gone in 60 seconds".
