Re: [ASC McLaren ] Re: Alarm Systems

Agreed with all that has been said. One trick to thwart the tow trucks in
parking lots is to park nose-in with the wheels turned full to the side. If
someone is parked next to you it will certainly stop them, if not then the
car will look real funny crab walking behind the towtruck!

The power door locks on my vert's dont even let the doors lock!

Subject: [ASC McLaren ] Re: Alarm SystemsI heard that some people on the 86-93 stangs remove their electric
fuel pump relay. I guess its located under the front driver's
seat. I don't know but that's what I've heard.

I'm gonna put a kill switch in mine with a removeable relay when all
is said and done.

Anybody who locks a convertible is a fool. Like Sandy said, a box
cutter makes a quick work around. I had a friend who I told to not
lock his vert and some guy sliced it to get the $3 in change in the
ash tray.

Just remember, the #1 way cars are stolen is by TOW TRUCK. If a
crook wants your car bad enough, HE WILL GET IT!
