That curb trick only works if its not a flat-bed tow truck.

About the only other thing is Low-Jack (tracker system), but I'm
sure most crooks know how to remove that.

While we're at it...

A guy at work is from Lithuania. People with expensive cars use all
sorts of tracking devices to try and get their cars back since auto
theft is a way of life there. The crooks are starting to use
paneled delivery trucks with shielding to nab cars and later remove
the tracking systems at their leisure.
