Re: Need a parts car Capri
So I call my father this evening and asked him if he located a Capri donor car. He said he came up short. He called around the Albany, NY area and the closest place he got had one but it was a convertible instead of a hatchback.
So I scolded him for not paying more attention to my ramblings on ascMcLarens and then asked where it was. He said he couldn't remember. He could give me the list of places and I could call them all back.
So somewhere around the Albany, NY area there is possibly an asc vert in a junk yard.
Anybody want the list of yards?
I got a line on a couple of Capris in VA but I'm thinking to cut my losses and buy that coupe in Florida. By the time I pay for the body work, the donor car and my dad's gas down to VA and back its probably gonna be a wash.
Oh, well I gotta sleep on this.
Any good parts car locating services? I tried www.junk-yard- hotline.com and it worked before. I hope it'll work again.
