The plaque numbers did NOT start over at 001 in 1988, nor in 1990. 1988 was a continuation of 1987 and 1990 was a contnuation of 1989. Yes, all MUSTANGS order from FORD to BECOME an ascMcLaren were built under a code D32, as well as all Capri McLarens.
Go back a few psots and re-read my #1 - #2 & #3 regarding numbers in general on McLarens.
