In all fairness to Hank, I have to say that "NOS" was my term, not his. It's obviously new, not used, so I made an assumption.

That actually makes a lot of sense. The one I have now is also "bendy", urethane I think. Since this type of material is usually pretty tough I was wondering what happened to the old one. I think the new one should be pretty durable.
