There's a good chance that the
LIMITED EDITION . 000 badge is under the passenger's seat. Many
fall off, hit the floor and slide under the passenger's seat, due to
forward thrust. Many person's have been rendered speechless across
America that I have spoken to on the phone. I tell them what I just
told you. They go out with flashlight in hand & come in with their
plaque, and call me back, thinking I am a fortune teller or
something! It's actually funny. If the car has been a regular at
the "Car Scratch" {wash} there's a good chance that you will NOT
find it, as it was most likely eaten up by the vacuum-maven!
Regarding the steering wheel center, one of 2 things. Faulty horn
switch relay contacts & it was replaced at the Ford dealer, and it
was fine with the owner, who didn't know Hank Huisman, OR OR OR when
ascMcLaren made it, they had temporarly run out of the ascMcLaren
replacements.....
I believe she'sa repaint. They never came in any color even close to
that one. ascMcLaren Red (all years) .... like a Tomatoe Red; Candy
Red Metallic in 1989 (a brownish-red - similar to a Fox); Black-
Cherry - the darkest maroon you ever saw, like a pint of red poured
into a gallon of black paint.
