Tonneau pull down
I've got an '86 McLaren. The tonneau has ceased to pull down on its own. (I've never had to push the switch down, as the pull-down sequence was triggered by pushing down on the tonneau like A Caddy trunk). Consequently, I have hot-wired the battery off my cordless drill with alligator clips to bypass the wiring to the motor and get the top secured. The motor is fine. The relay seems OK as I have manually operated the points to try and remedy the situation. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this system? I fear I have a short, but am not sure of what wires should be hot and where they terminate. Thanks.
